Performances

Chorus classes participate annually in a fall concert, Veterans Day Concert, virtual Holiday Concert, Large Group Performance Evaluation, Spring Show, and other special guest performances.  The choral department also sponsors the annual school-wide talent show that is open to all students in every grade level.  In addition, individual choral students are selected to participate in All State Chorus and District Honor Chorus.  Rising Starr’s Choral Department consistently ranks in the top 10 middle schools in the state with the most students qualifying for All State Chorus, and consistently receives superior ratings in performance and sightreading at Large Group Performance Evaluation, performing Class M, D, and C repertoire.
